Beginner’s track
Build basic dApps to get started with your web3 development journey:
Mint an NFT on Polygon using hardhat/truffle and verify the contract on Polygonscan.
Build a dApp to read and write from a smart contract with a front-end.
Decentralized voting dApp.
Supply chain tracking dApp.
Prize: 20x $500

Web3 Full Stack Challenge
Build an NFT minter dApp with a fully functional front-end to mint NFTs(both ERC 721 and ERC 1155) on Polygon.
Build a DeFi lending and borrowing dApp (Front-end + Smart contracts).
Build a decentralized Web3 Blogging platform using lens protocol on Polygon.
Build a dynamically generated NFT collection minter dApp.
Build a decentralized version of Patreon catered to the web3 creator community.
1st Prize = $5,000
2nd Prize = $2,500
3rd Prize = $1,500
Runner-ups = 6x $500

Anyone can take part in this hackathon!
Do I need a team?
No, you can hack solo. If you’d like to form a team, we will help you connect with other hackers.
Is there technical support?
Yes! Polygon team and Encode team will offer support during this hackathon.
Where does the organisation happen?
For updates, announcements and everything else on the organisational side, please keep an eye on Encode’s Discord.
Can I enter an existing project?
Yes, you can, but only if your project hasn’t raised significant funding already.
Do I own what I build?
Yes, you/your team is the sole owner of your project.
Can I do more than one challenge?
Yes! We actively encourage this.
