-
This is a beginner friendly track for those who are just starting their NEAR journey. Big ideas, ambitious projects, crazy concepts – we want to see your vision of the future!

BOS (Blockchain Operating System) is the easiest way to build and deploy your frontend on-chain by creating a JSX Component. All the frontend source code on BOS is stored on-chain on Near, making your frontend fully decentralized and open-source. While the frontend is on Near, it can interact with smart contracts on Near or any EVM chain in the backend. Components are also composable, meaning you can reuse and remix different components together and embed them into your dapp.
During the Encode Club X NEAR Horizon X DevHub Hackathon, build a BOS component for one of the following DeFi protocols and deploy it on near.org:
GMX: Can be a simple swap user experience on top of the protocol. Does not need to implement all functionality of the GMX frontend.
Uniswap v2 LP: Implement LP operations of Uniswap v2. Does not need to implement the swap functionality because it’s already done.
Uniswap v3 LP: Implement LP operations of Uniswap v3. Does not need to implement the swap functionality because it’s already done.
*For the protocols above, you are free to choose whichever EVM network on which they exist.
**For any inquiries - technical or non-technical - please reach out on the official BOS Telegram, or reach out to the Proximity judges via the organizers.
