Flare is the blockchain for data. It is a Layer 1, with added data acquisition functionality. Flare can therefore offer developers decentralized access to high-integrity data from other chains and the internet. This enables the creation of dapps with new use cases and monetization models. It also allows these dapps to serve multiple chains through a single deployment. Flare is EVM-based, meaning any applications written in Solidity to run on any other EVM chain can also be used on Flare.

Bounties

Build dApps utilising at least one of Flare’s Enshrined Data Protocols:
- FTSO (Flare Time Series Oracle) for price feeds,
- FDC (Flare Data Connector connecting both web3 and web2 data sources)
- Flare’s secure Random Number Generator.

Judging Criteria:
dApps must make use of at least one of Flare's enshrined Data Protocols. dApps must address real-world problems, or cater to specific use cases to be impactful. Add feedback in the Readme describing your experience with building on Flare.

Prizes:
1st prize - $5,000 x 1
2nd prize - $3,000 x 1
3rd prize - $2,000 x 1
Prize pool $1,000 x 5
Connect and use a novel external data source using FDC and use it on Flare.

Can be combined with the Main Track.
