OS API provides an easy way to access and provide liquidity to NFT collections - even more so with the launch of our new collection and trait offer endpoints. This challenge is meant to push you on creative uses of the OS API & Seaport to improve NFT liquidity.
Ideas include tooling for bots/collections/market makers, creator tools, drop mechanics, analytics, etc. The following criteria will be taken into consideration:
Innovativeness – How novel of a product were you able to build?
Viability – How easy is it to scale and grow?
User Experience – Is it easy to use and set up?
Prize for best project: $2500
“Build an Ocean” - OpenSea Community Tooling
OpenSea has multiple developer products/protocols including our API, Seaport, and our new drops protocol SeaDrop, all available in the spirit of what we call “building an ocean”.
This challenge is to join us in making these tools even more accessible and powerful to a broader crypto developer audience. Ideas include documentation/educational pieces on how to use, example hero projects, extending functionality in novel ways, additional tooling to use protocols, etc.
The following criteria will be taken into consideration:
Onboarding & Education – How much could this help in onboarding more developers into crypto / NFTs?
Delightfulness – How seamless of a user / education journey were you able to make?
Innovativeness – How novel of a product were you able to build?
Prize for best project: $2500
